"What I'm Working On"
Blue men
(but this one is Max's, complete with knitted outfit. The others are getting felt clothing.)
and mittens
I'm making triples of mittens, rather than pairs, in case one is lost. Is this silly? Do kids lose mittens? My kid doesn't seem to, but I don't know if he's representative. Perhaps if they lose mittens they'd lose both of them rather than just one?
I'm waiting for more yarn to come in, both triples are missing one thumb each. Hopefully the difference in dye lot won't matter too much.
All are for Max's school fair.
Triple mittens! I love it. I'm sure if we wore mittens here my boy would lose his.
The blue men are so fun too.

Cute mittens. It reminds me that I should try and make some for the first time this winter and I love the triple idea. So cute, if I were at the fair I'd definitely snag them.

That little man is so sweet. I think the extra mitten is a good idea. If the kids don't lose them - then they're sure to get a hole in one of them (that's always my problem!).

I think 'making mittens in 3's' is one of the cleverest ideas I've heard in a long time. Clever, clever... practical you!!
