Question posed by Max last week.
Here are some insect pictures from our walk in the wilderness last week. Actually, these were taken during the non-walk section of our walk, while Max patiently dug holes in the ground looking for hidden pirate treasure. While he was occupied with this very important task, I spent some time trying out the macro mode on my camera.
A reminder: today is the last day to sign up for the teeny tiny swap! We've already got a lot of swappers signed up, from all over the world. I've very excited, this is going to be fun!
I love the thought provoking questions our kids come up with. I just don't always like answering them. Last night, as we were getting the kids to bed, Emma called me back in her room and said "I've been wondering, why is there Earth?" Oh lordy!

Great pictures! You really can see all the details on the insects. Neat.

I love the questions too-how their little brains are working. I also love the answers to their own questions that they'll come up with sometimes. Or words, stoggy!
