Yes, it's a new toy, but is it for me? Max has already appropriated it so he can listen to "Billy Joe McGuffrey" from the VeggieTales Jonah soundtrack. I have to admit that it *is* kid-sized, but moms can use it too. I did get to take it on my walk the other day, and with it I managed to cut 10% off my normal walk time. It's amazing what a steady, fast beat will do for your feet!
I thought I'd post a picture of it with something familiar for scale. That's Thomas behind the iPod nano, not one of the larger blue engines like Gordon. OK, perhaps this scale is only relevant for parents of youngsters who are enamored of Thomas the Tank Engine, but since I am one of those, Thomas was my most handy scale device. Here's another picture with a more familiar scale object, my thumb.
It's so small! I can't believe it can hold so much music and pictures too! Tonight I'll have to make it a cover before it gets all scratched up. I've been wanting to get one of these for years, so when they came out with the nano I decided that now was the time. Yay!
Lucky! And it's sooo cute. I can't wait to see what kind of cozy you come up for it. The husband has been waiting for me to make one for his.

I think Thomas the Tank Engine is the perfect scale object! My oldest (Leo, who's 5) is growing out of Thomas just as my little one (Milly, 16 months) is growing into him. I'm secretly pleased!
